THE Indian High Commission in Brunei Darussalam will once again be hosting a Flag Hoisting ceremony, to mark the country’s 64th Independence Day on August 15.
The event will take place at 8am at the High Commission’s newly purchased site, located at the Diplomatic Enclave near the Ministry of Culture, Youth & Sports, Jalan Kebangsaan, Bandar Seri Begawan.
As with the previous years, the function will begin with the unfurling of the Indian flag by the High Commissioner to be followed by the singing of the national anthem.
The High Commissioner will also read the President of India’s message to its nationals. All Indian nationals and friends of India in Brunei Darussalam are cordially invited to attend the function. The Brunei Times
