Bruneian scholars residing in United Kingdom participated in a student exchange programme to Cairo, Egypt recently. The programme known as the BSUnion Crossover to Cairo ran from March 29 until April 9 and was organised by the Badan Kebajikan Penuntut Brunei Darussalam (also known as BKPBDK) in Egypt in cooperation with the Brunei Students’ Union .
A Khatam al-Quran ceremony was held recently at the Brunei Hall surau for students residing in London. The guest of honour at the ceremony was Abdullah bin Hj Ahad, Director of Studies of Brunei Students Unit. A total of 20 students participated in this religious event. A Quranic reading circle was held every Friday night .
